Lucky’s history began over 50 years ago, when founder Allen Leach started the business as a contract packer of confectionery in 1957 under the name of Lucky Candy.

The company’s first premises were in Canterbury, Victoria at the back of the family grocery store and over the years, a number of moves into larger premises and business changes saw Lucky product a range of cooking nuts that quickly became a permanent item in the cupboards and pantries of Australian households.

Lucky manufactures and retails a range of nut and seed products, including almonds, walnuts, cashews, hazelnuts, pine nuts, macadamias, brazil nuts, pistachios, pepitas and sunflower kernels.

Lucky almonds are all grown in Australia in our own orchards, which are located in the picturesque Sunraysia, Riverina and Riverland districts.

Lucky also produces a range of nut, fruit and seed mixes that are ideal for healthy snacking. These delicious mixes are all smarter alternatives when hunger strikes. The resealable bags of the Lucky Smart Snax and the Lucky tubs are perfect to keep in the office, the car and the pantry, while the Lucky 6 packs mean that you can take the portion controlled 30g boxes with you when you are out and about. Whatever product you choose, you can enjoy the healthy nutritional benefits of nuts anywhere!

Lucky has grown from its humble beginnings to become the leading nut brand in the dried fruit and nut category in supermarkets across Australia. Lucky products are also exported worldwide to destinations such as the Middle East, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
