Vili’s Cakes was established in 1968 when Vili was 19 years old. Today Vili’s employs nearly 300 staff with the head office and South Australian bakery located in Mile End. Bakeries and offices are also set up at Williamstown in Melbourne and Smithfield in New South Wales. Vili’s management approach is to foster a passionate culture among staff with the aim of maintaining the high level of quality products and service Vili set out to achieve some 45 years ago.
All Vili’s products are made in an immaculate, export registered establishment under internationally approved quality assurance (MSQA) and HACCP programmes. Production processes and procedures are regularly audited by independent third party auditors including the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS), Independents Retail Supermarkets Groups. Regular educational tours are still accepted for schools, community groups and clients.
